Summary: A position for one Science and Technology Management Grant (“Bolsa de gestão de ciência e tecnologia”) is open at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of the Project QuGenome.

Scientific Area: Optical Communications

Group: Optical Quantum Communications - Av

Work Objectives: The selected candidate will, among other related activities, ensure the daily management of the following tasks at the optical quantum communications group: - updating the group website and digital infrastructure; - manage the website's; - produce the Newsletter, the Weekly Agenda and the Events in Other Institutions; - use social networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and other digital platforms as an instrument for disseminating the group activities; - write news; - publicize the group events and activities in other forums and in the media; - production of materials for events and activities (posters, invitations, certificates, etc.); - supporting the activities and events developed by the investigation unit; - organize workshops.

Place of work: The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at University of Aveiro, under the supervision of Prof. Armando Pinto.

Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of renewal. Start date: December 2021 or soon thereafter.
