Applications are open for one Research Studentship(s), within the framework of project PERMAMERC, Mercury Biogeochemistry, Fate, and Impact in Permafrost Thaw Ecosystems (PTDC/CTA-AMB/4744/2020), financed by national funds through FCT/MCTES (PIDDAC

Workplan: The objective of this Grant is to perform research studies on the biotic and abiotic factors that control mercury methylation and methylmercury demethylation in permafrost thaw lakes, using incubations with stable isotopes. The results of this grant should be part of a master dissertation.

Duration: The research fellowship(s) will have the duration of nine months, starting in December 2022. This grant is not renewable.
