Workplan: The selected candidate will carry out the following activities within the Durable-FRP project, which involves an experimental and analytical study on the durability of fibre-reinforced polymer composite materials and structures: (i) Development of a database with results of tests on the durability of FRP composites; (ii) Laboratory study on the durability of FRP composites; (iii) Field study on the durability of FRP composites under real aging conditions; (iv) Development of durability degradation models for FRP composites; (v) Preparation of design recommendations. The selected candidate must also actively participate in the dissemination of the results obtained under the Durable-FRP project, through the preparation of scientific papers, communications to conferences and scientific reports.
Duration: The research fellowship will have the duration of 12 months. It is expected to begin in August 2021, and not be renewed.
