Work plan: The project involves the development of generic and innovative models to support the management of the design, planning and operation of sustainable supply chains (CAS) in a context of uncertainty. These will support decision-making in CAS, ensuring circular economy objectives (i.e. reduction of waste and consumption of materials as well as the use of efficient green technologies), simultaneously ensuring the well-being of society and the economic return of organizations.

A multidisciplinary approach will be developed using quantitative management methods. Modeling and optimization techniques will be studied in an integrated manner with environmental and social assessment methodologies. The models will be validated in real business cases.

Duration of the) Scholarship(s): Each scholarship will have a duration of 3 months, starting in October 2021. The scholarship contract will not be renewed.
