To this end, will be investigated the capability of the continuous bending under tension (CBT) process in various alloys which present low formability, such as aluminum, magnesium, and high strength steel. The objective is to understand the mechanism operated in each system and associated them with the material response, particularly in the increase of elongation to fracture. The work plan consists of the development of a numerical tool capable to simulate the CBT process and allowing a numerical analysis of the process variables on the mechanical behavior of material.

6. Applicable legislation and regulations: Statute of Scientific Research Grant Holder, as amended by Decree-Law no. 123/2019, of August 28th; Regulation no. 950/2019, of November 29th, published in Diário da República, no. 241, Series II, of December 16th (FCT, I.P.
