RESEARCH GRANT - RG_39_DEM_TEMA_2022_EC4uS

A tender is hereby opened for the award of one Research Grant (RG) in the scope of R&D projects Engineering Curriculum for Society (EC4uS) [EXPL/CED-EDG/1009/2021 ] under the following conditions:

Scientific Area: Engineering; Social Sciences; Education, and related areas.

Funding Source: Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P./MCTES, through national funds (PIDDAC).

Work plan: The work plan will focus on the development of a methodology and tools that allows Higher Education Institutions to think, conceptualize, and create programmatic content for the engineering courses, at the graduate and post-graduation level.

The following tasks are planned:

• Literature review;
• Data collection from the different stakeholders from the engineering curriculum;
• Readjustment of the development proposal for an engineering curriculum (Quantitative data collection);
• Dissemination, communication and data exploitation.

Workplace: The work will be carried out at Centre for Mechanical Technology and Automation (TEMA), Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Aveiro, under the scientific supervision of Doctor Cláudia Figueiredo and Doctor Bárbara Gabriel.
