A call is open for the allocation of 1 (one) research fellowship for PhD students (BI), within the research project HORUS - Plataforma Inteligente para Mapeamento e Avaliação de Competências, co-financed by the Portugal 2020 Program (PT 2020), in the framework of the Competitiveness and Internationalization Operational Program (COMPETE 2020) and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), taking place at the University of Beira Interior (www.ubi.pt ), under the following conditions:

Research Field: Informatics

Objetives:

The development of several Artificial Intelligence (AI) components to be integrated into the HORUS platform.

Work plan:

- Study of the state of the art and technological revision;

- The development of several Artificial Intelligence (AI) components to be integrated into the HORUS platform;

- Publication of articles in international conferences or journals.

Work location:

The work will be developed at the University of Beira Interior under the scientific supervision of Doctor Paulo André Fazendeiro ([email protected] ).

Fellowship duration and conditions:

The fellowship is opened for the duration of 16 months, starting in October 2021.

The activity is in regime of exclusive dedication in accordance with the .

The fellowship may be eventually renewable for another 8 months if the funding entity authorizes the extension of the grant beyond 16 months, not exceeding the completion date of the project (25/05/2023).

Publication/notification of results:

The final results of the evaluation process will be published in a sorted list, by the final classification obtained, and posted in a visible and public place of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Beira Interior. The candidate(s) will be notified of the decision by e-mail.
