1) Evaluation of the antifungal capacity of natural matrices;

2) Chemical characterization of selected matrices;

3) In vitro elicitation of natural matrices for the production of antifungal agents;

4) Optimization of production processes for natural matrices in a bioreactor;

5) Analysis of the effects of treatment with natural extracts obtained from plants subjected to elicitation processes and large-scale production in grapevines;

6) Dissemination and exploitation of the results generated in the project.

The main objective will be to obtain natural matrices with a high content of molecules with antifungal capacity, in order to solve the microbial attacks suffered by the wine trees, applying effective, innovative, safe and ecofriendly techniques, culminating in the development of a new biofungicide based on more sustainable viticultural practices, by reducing the use of phytopharmaceuticals in the treatment of diseases that affect the quality and production of grapes.
