Open Research Fellow Position for a PhD Student

Admission Requirements:

Candidates must hold a master degree in Journalism or Communication Sciences, and be enrolled at a PhD in Communication Sciences (Article 6 of FCT Regulation for Research Fellowships - Reg. nr. 950/2019).

Academic degrees obtained in foreign countries shall be registered by a Portuguese institution, according to the Decree-Law nr. 66/2018, of August, 16th, and the Ordinance nr. 33/2019, of January, 25th. Preferential factors

a) Experience in collecting and analyzing documentation and statistical information

b) Experience in conducting qualitative interviews

c) Minimum experience of 10 years as a journalist, with greater experience being valued, namely in editing or management positions

d) Experience as a trainer and/or teacher

e) Research production in the specific area of ​​journalism within the scope of the PhD in Communication Sciences.
