Work Plan:
The main objective of the work to be developed is the definition, structuring and development of a mobile application for the integration of touristic routes with accessibility capabilities for different user profiles, as well as cultural or other types of narratives, associated with these routes.
This objective will be achieved through the achievement of several sub-objectives:
3.1 Carrying out a technology study and related work relating to the state of the art and existing relevant platforms.
The Grantee must also analyze the work already developed in previous dissertations related to the topic in question. Based on this analysis, the Grantee will prepare a basic proposal for designing the structure of the application to be developed, as well as the functionalities and structures to be included in it. The Grantee must also design the architecture to be developed.
3.2 The Grantee must design a methodology for evaluating the structure and platform developed and apply the same methodology, involving various profiles of users and researchers from the community associated with the topic of work. Following the evaluation process, the scholarship holder must implement improvements identified as necessary as a result of the same evaluation.
3.3 The Grantee will be responsible, during the duration of the scholarship, for supporting the data insertion and maintenance processes necessary to create the platform to be made available, which may include the development of tools to support the insertion, updating and removal of data , as well as possible backup and data recovery needs.
3.4 The Grantee‘s responsibilities include contributing to the dissemination and dissemination of the work carried out and its results, such as: generation of documentation, websites, publications and reports requested, as well as attendance at meetings and publicity events and dissemination of the work developed and its results.
Workplace: The work will be developed at NOVA Laboratory for Computer Science and Informatics / Departamento de Informática / Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, under the supervision of Professor Armanda Rodrigues.
Fellowship duration: The scholarship will last for 6 months, eventually renewed within the duration of the project.

Documents that are of mandatory submission, for purposes of the studentship contracting: proof of enrollment in a MSc program.
* In case of foreign academic degrees, and to guarantee the application of the principle of equal treatment to applicants with national and foreign academic degrees, it is mandatory to submit the recognition of such degrees and the conversion of the respective final grade to the Portuguese grading scale.

Mandatory requirements: Computer Science BSc. Be enrolled in a Computer Science MSc.
Preferred factors:
1. BSc Course Grade 15 (out of 20) minimum.
2. Preparatory work for a Dissertation in Computer Engineering on a topic related to the development of mobile tools for tour tourism, focused on accessibility, user experience and narratives.
3. Good results in terms of curricular units related to the design and development of systems for the Web, namely Design and Implementation of Applications for the Internet and specifically for the Geographic Web;
4. Good knowledge of tools related to the development of Web Systems (namely Typescript, Javascript, Bootstrap, React, React Native, Java/Kotlin, Spring, ASP.NET, Redux) and Databases (SQL);
5. Oral and written knowledge of the English language;
6. Demonstrated experience and ability to work in a team.

Monthly maintenance allowance amount: The amount of the monthly maintenance allowance corresponds to € 990.98 euros.
Eligibility criteria
Selection criteria:
A classification will be made, on a scale of 0 to 20, taking into account the weighting of the following selection methods: a) curricular evaluation (50%) and b) knowledge and experience relevant to the execution of the project (50%). The Jury may not award the scholarship if the applications are not suitable for the project’s execution.

Form of advertising/notification of results:
The evaluation results proposed by the juri will be notified, up to 90 days after the deadline for the submission of applications, by email, of the results proposed by the jury, with access to the minutes and the final ranking list.
After notification, candidates will have 10 working days to comment on the draft decision (prior hearing of interested parties, under the terms of the Code of Administrative Procedure). The final decision will be taken after the expiry of the prior hearing period, again notified to all candidates by e-mail. Of this final decision the candidates can file a complaint within 15 working days (to the e-mail address used for the notification), or a hierarchical appeal, within 30 working days, addressed to NOVA.ID.FCT's Board through the address [email protected] .
