- Analyse the existing data and literature on costs and emission factors of installed and planned generation technologies in the coming years, on recent MIBEL results in the calibration of the CEVESA model, and on possible methods that can be used in the model development and scenario simulation phases.
- Analysis of the current capabilities of the CEVESA model to evaluate the new developments and improvements needed to adapt it to the project requirements.
- Writing research papers attending to the simulation of a set of relevant scenarios (different assumptions related to the energy system, such as demand levels, different levels of penetration of renewable generation technologies, etc.). As an output at this stage, at least one scientific article should be published, as well as at least one presentation at an international conference.
- Provide assistance in the literature review to identify externalities related to investments in wind and solar generation.
- Economic assessment of the main externalities identified, for a more accurate assessment of the overall costs and benefits of additional assessments in wind and solar generation, in relation to the corresponding emission reductions.
