OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Director of the Center for Theoretical Physics PAS invites applications for an undergraduate student’s scholarship at the CTP PAS, financed from the NCN project Maestro entitled: "Uncertainty Relations and Multipartite Entanglement” (2015/18/A/ST2/00274) - The project leader is Karol Życzkowski - see https://chaos.if.uj.edu.pl/~karol/Maestro7

We are looking for talented students of physics with good background in theoretical and quantum physics. Good knowledge of mathematical methods of physics and computational skills are essential. Ability to write working notes in English will be appreciated. The subject of the project concerns foundations of quantum theory and their applications in quantum information processing.

Benefits

Scholarship: 1000-1500 PLN/month (depending on qualifications)

Duration: 10 Months (September 2022 – June 2023)

Eligibility criteria

Submissions are to be received electronically (only PDF files) at the email [email protected] by the closing date of July 10, 2022. In your e-mail’s subject please add the reference number: KZ/13/2022.

The winner will be selected by July 30, 2022. Proposals will be assessed in accordance with the guidelines published by the NCN:

Selection process

The applicants will be informed about the results of the recruitment by e-mail. The

scholarship will be paid provided that the student will work on the project given by the principal investigator of the research grant.

achievements (publications, participation in research projects, conferences, etc.).
