The competition may be entered by persons who meet the requirements set out in Art. 113 and 116 sec. 2 of the Act

of July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended) and in § 82-83 of the Statute of the University of Economics in Katowice, and also meet the following qualification criteria:

• have at least a doctoral degree in social sciences, preferred discipline: management and quality sciences or sociological sciences,

• have research achievements in the field of human resource management and modern management technologies, documented by publications,

• have experience in the implementation of research projects in the field of human resource management,

• have knowledge of at least one modern foreign language (preferably English, German and French),

• indicated the University of Economics in Katowice as the primary workplace within the meaning of the Act on Higher Education and Science,

• an additional advantage will be min. 3 years of teaching experience in conducting classes

in subjects related to human resource management, project management, social media,

• an additional advantage will be at least 5 years of experience in conducting diploma theses,

• expert experience in the evaluation of research projects will be an additional advantage,

• experience in commercialization of research will be an additional advantage,

• an additional advantage will be the completion of certified postgraduate studies in the field of research project management,

• an additional advantage will be documented cooperation with business practice, including research, training and courses for business,

• experience in managing postgraduate studies will be an additional advantage,

• being an editor or a member of the editorial committee in a scientific journal as an additional asset.

A person employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Digital Economy Research at the College of Economics will be responsible for the implementation of tasks related to: educating students of the University of Economics in Katowice, scientific development and research activities, including cooperation with scientific institutions and business environment entities in the field of implementation College goals

and the University, organizational activities for the Department / College / University and other duties entrusted by their superiors.

Planned date of employment: 01/10/2021.

Type of contract: fixed-term employment contract

Gross basic salary:

1. assistant professor with the academic title of habilitated doctor (full-time work, basic workplace) - PLN 6,040 (in words: six thousand and forty zlotys),

2. assistant professor with a doctoral degree (full-time work, basic workplace) -

PLN 5,300 (say: five thousand three hundred zlotys).

• a declaration of kinship with your immediate supervisor,

• statement on the primary / additional job,

Deadline for submitting documents: from August 16, 2021 to August 30, 2021.

After the initial verification of the submitted offers, interviews with selected candidates will be conducted from 8 to 15 September 2021.
