Postdoctoral Position in Synthetic Organic Chemistry

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Synthetic Organic Chemistry to join the Stereocontrolled Organic Synthesis Team at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. The project focuses on the development of new strategies for enantioselective catalysis of radical reactions. It involves the development of enantioselective photochemical processes as well as the design and synthesis of chiral catalysts. The project is led by Dr Łukasz Woźniak, Assistant Professor at Jagiellonian University.


Profile:

-PhD in organic chemistry

-Experience in synthetic organic chemistry

-Good level of English

-High motivation

Valued qualities:

-Experience in enantioselective catalysis

-Experience in photochemistry


Responsibilities:

-The development of enantioselective radical processes. 

-Writing reports, preparation of scientific articles, and presentation of results on group meetings and conferences.

-Complete documentation of research results.
