We offer a 12-month PhD studentship at the Quantum Photonics Laboratory, Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw within the “Phase-only shaping of light pulses for applications in quantum technologies” project funded by the Foundation for Polish Science.
Your tasks will involve numerical simulations of unitary transformations of optical pulse spectrum and temporal profile and experimental work on time-frequency transformations of single-photon pulses using electro-optic and/or nonlinear phase modulation, including pulses from solid-state single emitters.
You will join a young international research team. You will have the opportunity to actively collaborate with our international project partners, including Universities in Paris (France), Southampton (UK), Innsbruck (Austria).
