Postdoc (structral biology)

We are looking for candidates interested to conduct a research project in structural biology at the Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology of the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland, one of the leading scientific institutions in polish biotechnology. The project covers structural insight into the peroxisomal protein import – the PEX translocon and involves cryo-EM, protein crystallography and related biochemical and cell biology approaches.

We offer the possibility to expand your interest in science in a dynamic, young research group in an interesting research project of broad impact on current topics of transmembrane protein translocation. The research is financed by the National Centre of Science in the framework of OPUS project (2021-2025).
