Offer Description
We are seeking a PhD student, who will give us help during the realization of the OPUS-23 Project (granted by the National Science Centre). The aim of this Project are to study the mechanism of chilling responses in C4 plants (maize and sorghum).

Skills/Qualifications
- Knowledge of the biology of C4 plants;
- Knowledge of basic research techniques related to the preparation of the plant material for the microscopic observations;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, basic statistical tests and graphic;
- Applications needed for the presentation of the results;
- High level of professional ethics (no criminal record).
Specific Requirements
- Experience in operating the light microscope; desired experience (but not required) in working with electron microscope;
- Willingness to travel (cooperating institutions, conferences, etc.);
- Ability to work both, in a team and independently;
- Commitment and creativity.
