About the position

The postdoctoral fellowship position is a two-year temporary position. The candidate will be part of a research group investigating how recycled aluminium can interplay with concrete, investigating recycling process routes, parametric design, multi-material behaviour and product properties. Increasing the content of calcinated clay in concrete solutions may allow the use of aluminium as formwork, reinforcing material as well as visual appearance. The candidate will be part of the recent research project, DARE2C2, owned by Norsk Hydro ASA and funded by the Norwegian Research Council and a consortium of industry partners. Moreover, this project is aligned to long-term research programs such as Centre for Research-based Innovation SFI PhysMet, NAPIC (NTNU Aluminium Product Innovation Centre) and AluGreen.
