OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTNU has an open position for a PhD candidate in smart soil stabilisation. The focus is on evaluating non-destructive monitoring techniques for soil stabilisation using laboratory and field trials and utilising industry by-products for soil stabilisation. The successful candidate will be part of a research project funded by The Research Council of Norway (Green sOil stAbiLisation (GOAL), RCN grant No. 328767, https://www.ngi.no/eng/Projects/GOAL-Green-sOil-stAbiLisation ) and will strongly collaborate with University College Dublin and NGI. The fully-funded PhD position has a duration of 3 years. The application deadline is February 15, 2022.
