About the position

The Department of Electric Power Engineering  (IEL) at NTNU has a vacancy for a full-time 100% position as a PhD candidate within the field of power electronics – Modularized and reconfigurable SiC DC/DC converters for charging infrastructure. 

The PhD candidate will work in a 12.5 MNOK internationally joint research project entitled “Modularized, Reconfigurable and Bidirectional Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles with Silicon Carbide Power Electronics (MoReSiC)”, which is funded under the POLNOR programme of the EEA and Norway Grants framework. 

The PhD candidate will collaborate with researchers from Warsaw University of Technology and Markel that is among the leading power converters manufacturers in Poland.The prospective candidate will work in the research group Power Electronic Systems and Components (PESC) , .

The position reports to the Head of Department.
