About the position

This PhD project is part of a larger, interdisciplinary umbrella project on the sustainable, digital transformation of welfare services, healthcare, and the built environment, studying the effects of digital platforms, algorithmic governance, and Internet of Things. The PhD student will be part of a group of five PhD students that will be hired at the same time.


In addition, the successful applicant will be invited to fully participate in the young and dynamic environment at NTNUs Centre for Technology and Society (https://www.ntnu.edu/web/kult/centre-for-technology-and-society ) and Centre for Gender Research (https://www.ntnu.edu/kult/units/skf). Furthermore, the PhD student will be associated with The Norwegian Research Centre on Zero Emission Neighbourhoods in Smart Cities (https://fmezen.no ), which through its pilot areas will provide privileged field access.
