The Scholarship was established in 2015 and is funded by Watercare Services Ltd in memory of Mark Ford and his outstanding service to Watercare and the water industry, as Chief Executive of Watercare.
The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support a student undertaking study in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in chemical, civil, environmental, mechanical or structural engineering at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
