Lincoln University Elite Sports Scholarship

The programme combines study with the extension and development of athletic and sporting abilities. This scholarship was introduced for athletes competing at National level in their chosen sport.


Applications should be submitted online via your MyLinc account.

Selection Criteria

National representatives of all sporting codes are eligible to apply.

After completing your MyLinc scholarship application, please send the following items to support your application in one email to [email protected]

  • A Word or PDF document:

     - Listing your sporting achievements over the last three years

     - Outlining your reasons for applying for the Lincoln University Sports Scholarship

     - Telling us your highest representative achievement.

  • Getting To Know You document
  • A copy of your Record of Achievement from the NZQA website.

We will email your nominated referees with the appropriate form they need to complete.

  • For new and current students
  • Available to New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident students.
