This scholarship is offered by the School of Fundamental Sciences and is funded by royalties generated from Associate Professor Ayers’ resin research.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for a student who wants to undertake research over summer under the supervision of a staff member from the School of Fundamental Sciences.
What you'll be studying
This is an undergraduate or postgraduate scholarship. You will be studying a bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree with a focus on one of the following:
- Biochemistry
- Chemistry
- Computer Science/Information Technology
- Genetics
- Mathematics
- Microbiology
- Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry
- Physics
- Plant Sciences
- Statistics.
If you are an undergraduate student, you will have completed your 200-level courses for your major by the end of the current year.
Eligibility criteria
You must:
- be studying in specific subject areas
- wish to undertake research with a supervisor in the School of Fundamental Sciences
- be willing to submit a report to your research supervisor at the end of your scholarship.
