History

Graeme Cammick died in 2020 leaving a generous bequest to Victoria University of Wellington, asking that it be used to establish a scholarship for students at the New Zealand School of Music. Graeme had a long career with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, retiring in 2018 to give him time to pursue his lifelong interests in music and travel. A regular attender at the NZSM lunchtime concerts, he enjoyed all music, and had a particular interest in voice. The Cammick Scholarship is for students at the New Zealand School of Music established using funds from the Graeme Cammick Property Trust.
