With this position you will work for The NEPIT Doctoral Network project will help you enter the realm of endless possibilities within reverberation chambers, a world were electromagnetic echoes and reflections spark innovation. Job Description
In the NEPIT project you will model, simulate and evaluate the effect of shielding covers and the discontinuities with a focus on actual situations where other parameters like corrosion, stiffness, and reliability are dominant factor and develop the Dual RC technique for validation measurements and have this embedded in world-wide standards for evaluation of shielding covers and compartments.
The expected results are novel model and test methods for complex shielding covers, which can be used by design engineers in various industries (medical, automotive, aerospace etc.).

Requirements
Specific Requirements
- A master's degree with a solid and demonstrable background of academic excellence in electrical engineering, physics or related field.
- Ability to think creatively with an inclination to problem-solving approaches and developing novel solutions.
- Passion for engineering, research and innovation.
- True team player and can adapt to changing research needs or unforeseen challenges.
- Motivated to develop your teaching skills and coach students.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level).
Desirable skills and interests
- Previous experience with electromagnetic measurements and experiments would be highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with specialized software (MatLab, Mathematica, CST, etc.) is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills: either for presentations and public dissertations or for interpersonal communication.

- Full-time employment for four years, with an intermediate evaluation (go/no-go) after nine months. You will spend 10% of your employment on teaching tasks.
- Salary and benefits (such as a pension scheme, paid pregnancy and maternity leave, partially paid parental leave) in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities, scale P (min. €2,770 max. €3,539).
- A year-end bonus of 8.3% and annual vacation pay of 8%.
