You will carry out research on ab initio-based descriptions of correlation effects at the highest scientific level in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with a balanced and international team that helps you unleash your potential.

The Theory of Condensed Matter Department at Radboud University (Nijmegen, Netherlands) is seeking a PhD Candidate or Postdoctoral Researcher to work on a project in the ab initio-based modelling of correlation effects. You will work on this project under the supervision of Prof. Mikhail Katsnelson and Dr Malte Rösner. You will be encouraged to closely work together with experimental groups, participate in relevant conferences, workshops and seminars, and to communicate your findings through publications in peer-reviewed journals.

PhD candidates will be awarded a PhD degree from Radboud University upon successful completion. We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups. Your teaching load may be up to 10% of your appointment.
