2-3 Student Assistants assisting in collecting survey-data

Updated: 4 months ago

The Amsterdam Institute for Logic, Language and Computation and the Department of Media Studies of the Faculty of Humanities are looking for multiple student assistants for a NWO-funded Corona fast-track project: Collecting systematic survey data on scientists’ information-seeking and information-spreading behaviour in a time of crisis, supervised by Dr Giovanni Colavizza.

This is a research program that uses data from multiple survey waves to investigate how scientists adapt to the ‘infodemic’: information cascades on COVID-19 that also contain much misinformation. Scientists have a crucial role to play in the infodemic. How do they adapt to it as the crisis unfolds? The insights from this project will be used to inform governments and experts.
