Postdoctoral fellow position in the field of RAS drug development

Ideal position to initiate your independent research career as an academic researcher in the Cancer Cell Biology group under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Abankwa. The Cancer Cell Biology group aims at understanding how the notorious oncogene RAS drives cancer cell stemness and how to drug target it (eRASeCancer.wordpress.com ).

You will employ and have experience with a broad spectrum of techniques, to develop and characterize novel types of Ras inhibitors, including fluorescence polarization, luciferase complementation, cellular BRET and FRET, SPR, signaling, protein-biochemistry and 2D/3D cell growth data.

• PhD degree in biochemistry, chemical biological or related disciplines
• Must have strong experience with at least two of the luminescence methods mentioned above
• Very good organizational skills, attention to detail, persistence
• Excellent command of English
