This multidisciplinary department focuses on psychological, sociological, and educational processes associated with behaviour, cognition, development and health.

PhD student position with expertise in TMS research/areas of Biological, Clinical, and Health Psychology (Assistant doctorant)

This PhD position will be located in the project “Interoceptive stimulation as intervention method to reduce stress and somatic symptoms” (INSTIM; PI: Assistant Prof. Dr. André Schulz). The objective of the INSTIM project is to investigate the potential of stimulation and inhibition of the brain network mediating interoception and to elucidate potential effects on stress responsiveness and somatic symptoms. The project is funded by the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, but the application for additional PhD funding by the Fonds National de la Recherche Luxembourg (FNR) is mandatory (AFR PhD scheme). Enrolment in the Doctoral School of Social Sciences is obligatory for the candidate.
