3 PhD positions on “Design and Implementation of Photonics systems for augmented and virtual... (# of pos: 3)

The PhD Students will attend courses (on specific physics topics and on transversal and soft skills-related topics), as foreseen by the Ph.D. School at Politecnico di Milano.

They will also be involved in a secondment abroad, joining a high-level research group working on the Ph.D. research topic, selected with the agreement of the Supervisor. An increase in the scholarship will apply for the secondment period of up to 6 months (566 €/month - net amount).

A secondment in Luxottica is also foreseen, for a maximum of six months.

The monthly net income of Ph.D. scholarship (max 36 months) is € 1400.

Financial aid is available for Ph.D. candidates for purchasing of study books participation in courses, summer schools, workshops and conferences: up to € 4872.90.

Accommodation in Residences of Politecnico di Milano (http://www.residenze.polimi.it ) is available for Ph.D. students; special rates apply to selected out-of-town candidates.
