Research grant for graduates or PhDs in physics/engineering, with the possibility of contract renewal or academic route, at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the Università degli Studi di Napoli "Federico II", Naples, Italy.
TITLE
Investigation on ultrasound propagation in solids/liquids and development of a system for the controlled generation of ultrasonic wave
DESCRIPTION
The activity will mainly concern the numerical modelling of mechanical wave propagation phenomena and the development of a system for the controlled generation of ultrasound and their use for the mechanical stimulation of solids/liquids. The activity is part of a project of significant national interest and will be carried out in collaboration with other institutions and research centres. The candidate motivated to develop skills in numerical modelling, transducers, electronics, programming or already in possession of them will be given preference.

The research activity to be carried out, appropriately supervised, involves the development of multidisciplinary skills, especially in the electronics, transducers and machine learning fields.
The activity will be carried out in collaboration with Italian and non-EU institutions and the candidate will be involved in international scientific networks.
