OFFER DESCRIPTION

The study object of this grant will consist in the stratigraphic and micropaleontological analysis (in particular of diatom algae), of sediment and seawater samples, collected by the PNRA / COLLAPSE - Cook Glacier-Ocean system, sea LeveL and Antarctic Past Stability project, on the continental slope facing the Cook and Ninnis glaciers.

Skills/Qualifications

• To be under the age of 30
•  To hold a Master’s degree in Geology obtained by Italian Universities or degrees issued by Universities abroad
•  To have a good knowledge of Diatoms in the Antarctic environment
• To have a good knowledge of the English language
