The McAuley Group, based in the School of Chemistry – Trinity College Dublin, is offering one fully-funded PhD position (4 years) for March 2023 start in Physical Chemistry focused on the study of reactions at the solid/solution interface for Sustainability, Energy and Sensor applications.
The group has wide-ranging interests encompassing both fundamental electrochemistry (theory, experiment and simulation) through to the development of chemical sensors, with a particular focus on advanced nanochemistry. Applicants are advised to look at the recent work of the PI to determine if there are set subject areas they are primarily interested in and with which their experience aligns.
