The School of Psychology invites applications for the following proposed PhD projects under the supervision of Professor Cherie Armour ([email protected]). Please note that only ONE project will proceed and will be receiving DFE funding. To be eligible for DFE funding you must have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years per DFE guidance. Funding will be awarded to the most suitable applicant irrespective of topic choice.
Two halves make a whole: Exploring the role of the families in caring for police officers with occupational related psychological distress
Identifying psychological mechanisms which promote resilience post-trauma
Revenge is Sweet: Identifying the social and psychological drivers of human desire for revenge after criminal victimisation
