Project title : Understanding physics of design and fabrication of advanced high-frequency electronic devices for beyond 5G technologies

The research work will be related to lithography, electronic device fabrication and integration, charge transport measurements in DC and high-frequency range. You will be able to gain experience in handling novel low-dimensional materials such as monolayers of 2D materials, organic and inorganic nanowires, etc. The researcher will be working in a vibrant and interdisciplinary group of Dr. Abhay Sagade, Associate Professor (Research), Department of Physics and Nanotechnology. Job Requirements

•A PhD in experimental Condensed Matter Physics/Solid State Physics or Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Any additional skills in device simulations, MATLAB, Python, etc. will be given preference.

•Minimum 60% or equivalent CPGA in both Bachelor’s (B.Sc./BS/B.Tech.) and Master’s degrees (M.Sc./MS/M.Tech.) ONLY in the above-mentioned subjects.

•AGE limit maximum 30 years (as of April 2024). The applicant must have completed the PhD after DECEMBER 2020. Those who have submitted their PhD thesis and waiting for the Viva-Voce examination are also eligible to apply.
