2 PhD position in Experimental and Computational Micro/Nanoelectronics

Centre for Nanotechnology Research (CNR) at VIT University is one of the leading research centres in India. We are looking for PhD position in various fields of nanotechnology, such as Nanoelectronics, Nanomagnetic materials, Functional Nanomaterials, Nanomaterials for Energy, Sensors. More than 10 active researchers are grouped in CNR.

For the future requirements in the field of electronics, we are actively developing micro/nanoelectronic devices and circuits. To develop optimum and reliable devices, we have excellent experimental and computational facility, including class-1000 clean room.

Currently, we are looking for 2 PhD positions in Experimental and Computational Micro/Nanoelectronics to develop modern devices for RF/Microwave/THz/Transparent and flexible electronics applications. The candidates with knowledge in handling nanomaterials, computational tools (such as TCAD, atomistic simulators), nanomaterial characterization is big plus. Other academic qualification and requirements are listed in university website (http://www.vit.ac.in/files/ResAdm09Mar17.pdf).

Candidates, who are interested, shall send their CV to Dr. D. Kannadassan (dkannadassan@vit.ac.in) along with recent publications in any.
