Students of engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional complete a 6-month study visit to a German technical university or university of applied sciences to carry out project work.
Who can apply?
Students of engineering from UTN who have completed at least 60% of coursework in their study programme.
What is supported?
Attendance of two classes with proof of credits and participation in a research project. The study visit does not lead to a degree or diploma qualification.
Duration of funding
Co-funded by UTN and DAAD:
- Language course in Argentina (UTN)
- Funds for outward and return flight (UTN)
- One-month language course in Germany (DAAD)
- Medical, accident and personal liability insurance (DAAD)
- One-off start-up allowance of 230 euros (DAAD)
- Monthly partial scholarship payment of 405 euros (DAAD) plus top-up payment (UTN) to make up full scholarship
- Tutorial supervision at German host university (DAAD)
The most important selection criteria are:
- Above-average academic achievements
- Good knowledge of German
- Ability to cope in a new cultural and language environment
Candidates are selected by a mixed academic commission including representatives of the DAAD.
