  • Planning and execution of time-resolved pump-probe experiments in the THz frequency region
  • Analysis and modelling of the experimental data
  • Carrying out literature research
  • Publication and presentation of scientific results

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physics or Material science
  • Solid understanding of quantum mechanics
  • Knowledge of semiconductor physics, ideally including narrowband gap semiconductors and semimetals
  • Experience with optical techniques, ideally including ultrafast and/or THz spectroscopy
  • Independent working style, demanding high quality of your own work

We offer:
  • A vibrant research community in an open, diverse and international work environment
  • Scientific excellence and extensive professional networking opportunities
  • The employment contract is limited to three years
  • Salary and social benefits in conformity with the provisions of the Collective Agreement TVöD-Bund
