We have developed a Droplet Microarray platform

based on hydrophilic-superhydrophobic patterning, that enables formation of arrays of stable nanoliter

droplets on planar, transparent and biocompatible surface. For the past years we have established Droplet

Microarray for high throughput screening of live cells using 2D and 3D cell culture models. We are working

on developing Droplet Microarray for further biological applications and searching for enthusiastic PhD

students holding a major in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology or similar for the following

research topics:

- Single cell proteomics on a chip

- Personalized oncology screenings on a chip

- Sequencing on a chip

- High throughput screenings on a chip using various cell culture models

- Screening for antibiotics against multi-drug-resistant (MDR) bacteria
