The project will build on our recent work (Interactions between interfaces dictate stimuli-responsive emulsion behaviour | Nature Communications ) and will include the following tasks:
- Preparation and characterization of stimuli-responsive polymeric particles and emulsions stabilized by them.
- Establishment and further development of advanced measurement techniques based on atomic force microscopy.
- Development and optimization of experimental protocol to investigate stabilization and destabilization mechanisms of switchable emulsions.
- Analysis of complex experimental datasets, including software-assisted evaluation, to elucidate the interactions governing stimuli-responsive emulsions.
