What we offer:
Within the advertised position, you will learn how to manufacture van-der-Waals organic hybrid structures and characterize them via state-of-the-art quantum transport and microscopy techniques.
If you like an international, interdisciplinary, flexible and motivating environment with ample possibilities for own career development, mentoring and career support you will enjoy working in our group. As PhD student you will be enrolled in the Georg-August University School of Science (GAUSS) , a structured PhD program.
What we are looking for:
You have completed your scientific university studies with a master’s degree in the field of physics, with above-average grades and ideally have very good knowledge in condensed matter physics, nanofabrication and quantum transport.
Further information:
The University of Göttingen is an equal opportunities employer and places particular emphasis on fostering career opportunities for women. Qualified women are therefore strongly encouraged to apply as they are underrepresented in the field. The university has committed itself to being a family-friendly institution and supports their employees in balancing work and family life.
