Deadline: The position may have been removed or expired!

The research group »Personal Hearing Systems« at Fraunhofer IDMT in Oldenburg develops customer-oriented solutions that ensure personal sound quality and good speech intelligibility. Our research and development lays the foundation for intelligent hearing applications that optimise the sound experience for each individual listener. Because: Every person hears differently!

Our »Personal Hearing Systems« team is one of six research groups in the Hearing, Speech and Audio Technology HSA department. Here, key technologies are developed for »The Hearing Car«, machines are taught to hear in order to minimise downtime, and robust speech recognisers make devices listen and enable contactless control and quality assurance. In the health sector, speech and language analysis systems are being developed for therapeutic applications and, thanks to mobile EEG systems, the sleep lab is coming home. Algorithms for better speech intelligibility and personalised sound quality make hearables fit for the working world - and media use a listening pleasure for everyone.
