The Georg-August Universität Göttingen invites applications for a

PhD Position (f/m/d)

(Salary group 13 TV-L, at least 50 %, i.e.19.9 h/week), Development of biophysical models for and simulation of topological changes of membranes.

The position is available in the research group of Prof. Marcus Müller, starting March 1st, 2022 and is limited to three years. The project deals with coarse-grained molecular simulations of biophysical membrane phenomena such as e.g., fusion and fission.

You have completed your scientific university studies with a master’s degree in the field of physics, engineering, or similar, with above-average grades and ideally have proven experience in computational science, molecular simulation or experience in modeling biophysical phenomena.
