The position is advertised as part of the Research Training Group 2491 "Fourier Analysis and Spectral Theory" at the Georg-August University of Göttingen.

Your profile

  • Master degree in mathematics or equivalent
  • Research focus with an analytical profile in one of the areas number theory, geometry, non-commutative geometry, topology, analysis of partial differential equations, mathematical physics
  • Language proficiency in English or German

The post is designed to serve in fostering young researchers. It gives the successful applicant the opportunity to obtain a doctoral degree. The position is suitable for part-time employment. The successful applicant work within the research program of the Research Training Group. As member of the Research Training Group you benefit from its qualification program, with advanced and tailor-made courses on the topics of the Research Training Group. workshops and PhD schools will contribute to a vibrant scientific environment.
