The IMPRS-QBEE is a structured graduate programme for outstanding doctoral candidates from around the world whose research interests lie within the fields of animal behaviour, ecology, evolution, physiology and neurobiology and are seeking a starting platform with a stimulating and competitive environment to give their careers a boost.

We seek to prepare young motivated researchers with the minimum entry requirement of a Master's or an equivalent degree level. In exceptional cases, graduates with a four-year Bachelor’s degree (with written thesis) in a related subject are considered.
It is not necessary to hold the final degree at the time of application.
- Language requirements
Candidates need to be fluent in written and spoken English and – unless they are native speakers – have to document their proficiency in English (e.g. TOEFL). German is not required. Students from abroad will be offered opportunities to take German courses.
