We seek a candidate for the DFG funded project „Replicating failed replications: A validity-based framework for predicting replication success“ which is part of the newly founded Priority Program META-REP (SPP 2317). An abstract of the project can be found at www.marc-jekel.de/abstract.pdf .

YOUR TASKS

  • developing project ideas, re-analyzing data, conducting surveys and empirical studies in the project
  • presenting and documenting project results at SPP meetings, conferences, and in articles
  • achieving a doctoral degree using results from the project

YOUR PROFILE

  • master in psychology or related field
  • strong knowledge of psychometrics
  • strong knowledge of methods and statistics
  • good command of R or similar software
  • strong interest in meta-scientific questions
  • experience with machine-learning (e.g., random forest, artificial neural network) is a bonus
  • good command of English

The position is available from 01.02.2022 on a part-time basis (75% / 29,87 hours per week). It is limited until 31.01.2025. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
