About the job

Scholarships are provided in the framework of the Graduate School Scholarship Programme (GSSP) of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). After nomination the successful candidates therefore have to formally apply to DAAD.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a DAAD PhD Scholarship in novel drug delivery to cancer cells for Students from Developing Countries at University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, located in Lübeck. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on novel drug delivery methods to target cancer cells. This will involve designing and performing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings. The candidate will collaborate with a team of researchers and experts in the field.

    Your profile

    • Excellent master’s degree in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology or chemistry
    • Excellent oral and writing English communication skills
    • A record of scientific accomplishment documented by peer-reviewed publications.
    • Not have been resident in Germany for the past 15 months
    • Not have graduated longer than three years ago
    • Not have completed a PhD
