Offer Description

The work will be carried out within the "Cold atoms" team at the INPHYNI laboratory, as part of an ERC project coordinated by Robin Kaiser.

This thesis deals with the development of astronomical instrumentation using the so-called intensity interferometry technique. More specifically, the aim is to develop the first multi-channel intensity interferometry system, using a dispersive system to perform several simultaneous measurements at different neighboring wavelengths, in order to improve the signal-to-noise ratio.
