Offer Description

Project : several teams have demonstrated inflammation as a key player in physiology and how an altered inflammatory response lead to pathologies. Chronic inflammation is installed in many disease such as cardiovascular disease. Ageing is also considered as an inflammatory state. Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in the world, and their frequency increased with age. This project aims to better understand the interaction of circulatory cells (platelet) with their environment (endothelium), in a context of cardiovascular disease in extreme-aged people. We will adopt a multidisciplinary approach with in vitro, ex vivo and invivo models, using different techniques such as flow cytometry, microscopy, biochemical, molecular biology etc.
